Sheldon Forum

NAA Membership: Sheldon Forum

The Sheldon Forum, a special interest group of the Sheldon Art Association, was formed in 1987 to develop interest and knowledge in collecting art that complements the collection of the Sheldon Museum of Art.

Members attend receptions at the homes of private collectors to better understand the art of collecting and to be inspired by the collections. They visit artist studios to learn about the artist’s work and processes. And, each year they travel to an art center to visit museums, private collections, corporate collections, and artist studios.

Membership fees are used to purchase artwork for the Sheldon Museum of Art and to sponsor a public lecture by a visiting artist at the Sheldon.

Membership to the Sheldon Forum is $400/person or $800/couple. To become a member, an individual must be an upper level member of the Sheldon Art Association ($150 or more). Sheldon Art Association members at the Director’s Circle level ($2500) receive a complimentary membership for two to the Sheldon Forum.
