Poets on Painters

A visual and literary exhibition that pairs 20 contemporary poets with 20 contemporary paintings, Poets on Painters opens at the Sheldon on April 25. The poem that responds to the painting will be displayed alongside the artwork.

The Sheldon Statewide Exhibition 2008-09 examines artists' views of the physical world, from microcosm to macrocosm, from particle to planet. The exhibition, which includes about 25 artworks including paintings, sculpture, photographs and prints, opens at Sheldon May 2.
