May 29, 2018 through July 29, 2018
  • Roberto Salas, Fidel y Che.

Roberto Salas is a New York–born Cuban photographer who traveled to Havana in 1959 with his father, Osvaldo, to document Fidel Castro’s rise to power. The photographs in this solo exhibition, drawn primarily from Sheldon’s permanent collection, present significant moments from the Cuban revolution as well as intimate portrayals of Castro and other key figures from the time.
