  • Nancy Friedemann: Excerpts From the Labyrinth

    June 24, 2003 thru August 17, 2003

Nancy Friedemann's work is preoccupied with the aesthetics of writing and memory as visual languages. Her forms, which often take the basic structure of the doily web, reflecting her deep interest in textiles, are built up through the meticulous act of writing.

  • New Directions II

    May 20, 2003 thru August 17, 2003

As the second annual New Directions exhibition, pieces that address new trends in contemporary American art will be brought together. This year’s selections are six works that range from compelling photographs and drawings to a large-scale painting and an evocative sculpture.
