Introduction
Sheldon Offers Diverse Exhibitions
For more than 40 years, the University of Nebraska–Lincoln's Sheldon Museum of Art has provided a space for students, faculty and staff, alumni, the Lincoln community, and visitors to experience one of the greatest collections of American art in the world. Even with an outstanding permanent collection, it is our philosophy to ensure that this collection is continuously diversified and expanded.
To represent the many facets of American art, Sheldon Museum of Art offers as many as 12 exhibitions each year.
Educational programs such as symposia, lectures, children’s workshops, and tours are organized in conjunction with each show.
