FROM PARTICLES TO PLANETS, Exploring the Physical in Art

Examine the physical world — its span, breadth and depth; from microcosm to macrocosm, from particle to planet — through the eyes of artists in Sheldon Statewide 2008-09.

Statewide Arts Connection WorkshopsStatewide Arts Connection is an educational outreach initiative offered by Sheldon Museum of Art at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Funded by the Nebraska Arts Council, the program will offer four teacher training workshops in 2008-2009 to train teachers on how to integrate arts into the classroom. The workshops will provide instruction and materials that will support the National Standards for Arts Education. Each will coincide with the Sheldon Statewide exhibition FROM PARTICLES TO PLANETS and will culminate in a trip to view the exhibition. For more information, click here: Statewide Arts Connection.
