Textile and apparel design students at the University of Nebraska present a runway event in the Great Hall, designed and produced by students in the of Textiles Clothing and Design Department.

The show will present approximately 35 garments, the works of about 25 students. The subject will be textiles and the body, shielding, veiling and adorning. The garments will represent geometry, textile crafts and draping.

The innovation of the student work stems in part from an integration of experimental textile design with an architectural approach to apparel design. Barbara Trout, Professor of Textile and Apparel Design and Professor Wendy Weiss instruct the students in their advanced studio courses.
