Sheldon celebrates its sixth annual Día de los Muertos/Day of the Dead celebration.
The event is free and open to the public.
12 pm - Music by Antonio Almazán
12:30 pm - "Los Zapatos Mágicos"/"Pedro's Magic Shoes" by Ric Averill, performed by students from Lincoln High School
1:45 pm - Traditional music by Los Villanos
2:45 pm - Folkloric dance by Sangre Azteca
3:15 pm - Traditional music by Los Villanos
There will also be a community ofrenda, art-making stations, traditional foods, and a silent auction.
The event is a collaboration of the Sheldon Museum of Art, Sheldon Art Association, Día de los Muertos Community Advisory Committee, Nebraska Latino American Commission, Lincoln Public Schools, and Mourning Hope with generous support from Southeast Community College, Ameritas, BlueCross BlueShield of Nebraska, and Lincoln Benefit Life.

Además, habrá un altar comunitario, puestos artísticos, comida tradicional, y una subasta silenciosa.
